The stars of the show, however, were Dan Mccue and freshman Andrew Acker. Their boost of energy off the bench was the turning point of the game, after the Engineers suffered one of their worst halves in recent history. Acker made timely defensive plays while Mccue nailed two three-pointers to swing the momentum Tech's way.
