The nationally ranked #10 MIT Engineers topped Suffolk University 81-59 this evening in Rockwell Cage to continue their perfect 5-0 season. Tech's defensive pressure led to 14 steals while offensively the reigning NEWMAC Champions shot a sizzling 71% from inside the arc.

Two-time All-Conference selection Mitchell Kates led the show with 22 points on 7-of-9 shooting and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. Jamie Karraker, one of the nation's best three-point shooters, connected on four treys to reach 16 points on the night.

Last year's All-Region big-man Will Tashman registered his third double-double in a row, tallying 14 points and 13 rebounds along with a game-high 4 assists, while All-American Noel Hollingsworth added 10 points in just 19 minutes of action.
