MIT Ranked 4th Best Athletics Program in Nation

The MIT Athletics program is currently in 4th place in the Learfield Sports Director's Cup, which measures overall athletic programs in Division III. MIT witnessed one of the greatest winter seasons in the Institute's history, including the men's basketball team's historic Final Four performance.

MIT Athletics Hosts Annual Kids Day, Celebrates NCAA Division III Week

The MIT Student Athletic Advisory Committee and MIT Athletics teamed up last week for the national NCAA Division III Week. One of the events included hosting 100 sixth-graders from a nearby school in a day of athletic events. The MIT Basketball squad has participated in the annual Kids Day celebration every year.

Head Coach Larry Anderson Earns National Man of the Year Award

Head Coach Larry Anderson, coming off the best season in MIT history with a 29-2 record and trip to the Final Four, has earned the Man of the Year award presented by The award was presented to Anderson in New Orleans, the site of this year's Division I Final Four. Anderson, in his 17th season, was also a finalist for the National Coach of the Year after earning both Conference Coach of the Year and Northeast Region Coach of the Year accolades.

MIT Spring Career Fair on Thursday

MIT is hosting its annual Spring Career Fair for those students who are still seeking summer internship and employment opportunities. Dozens of companies will be on hand to meet with the MIT student body. MIT's main career fair is during the fall, when over 350 companies and organizations flock to the MIT campus to offer jobs.
